Cuttlebug Nestie Card and Crocheted Flowers

I couldn't help myself last night after visiting Ikki's Cuttlebug Cupboard I just had to try some of the things I saw. So excited I was I didn't even want to leave the room to get my glasses which I need these days to see finer details. I created this card using the scalloped edged circle nestie from Spellbinders. The card measures just 9cm so I would probably use it to accompany a gift. Christmas tags are buzzing around in my head now. The base card is SU Night of Navy which I have run through the cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. Then a layer of SU Bashful Blue. I coloured the Stamping Up (played with friends stamp so don't know the name) image using my aqua pen and SU Soft Subtles inkspots. Embossed the edge of the circle and chalked it as suggested over at Ikki's. Finished all with a silver bow.

These crochet flowers kept my hands busy all day yesterday. Now I have to finish all the ends off and bag them up ready for the markets.

  4. Great work with the flowers. I asked my sister to make me some as I am no good at crocheting. Not my kind of thing.

  5. Love your nestie and all those flowers. I just finished knitting a bunch of flowers for a hat for Sophia. Will show a photo as soon as DH takes it for me. Hard to believe you're starting Monday when we're not done with Sunday yet. LOL

  6. Hi Merry, I see it worked out well - soooo pleased you liked the idea. Have you seen my Wibbly Wobbly card, it would sell on your stall. I'm trying to highlight the CB and just what you can do with it, so appreciated you linking your card. Any help in this way is very much appreciated. Thanks, ikki
