Thanks for continually visiting my blog throughout this year even though the posts have been a little slower.  I have enjoyed the friendships I have made and continued also I so enjoy seeing what everyone creates.  2014 has been busy, full of new experiences, fast and fun and I would like to say that I will be in here more in 2015 but not making any promises as who knows where 2015 will take us. See you in the New Year. :-)

These are the cards I made for the November Card Swap over at Craftmad .  We had to swap two cards using the theme 'Up in the Air'.  Of course, I googled and saw lots of button balloons so had to have a go.  I started with white card stock and three cloud shapes I had hand cut from paper.  I then inked around the cloud edges to create the sky background.  Next, I put that cloud background through the printer to add the sentiment.  Out came the sewing machine so that I could sew the background onto the front of the card and attach the hills.  The baskets for the balloons are scraps of black paper with a gold pattern.  I hand drew the ropes attaching the basket.  Such a fun card to make and great way to use these fun buttons I have collected.  (Thanks Kaye. ) This is the second card I made, I decided it was high time I dug out my copic pens and give them a work out.  So I coloured this fun spaceship image that I had collec...

I think these are the cutest of all the cards I sent out.  I just love all the images and the colours they came in.  I had lots of fun digging through all by stickers to add the finishing touches.   Thanks again for stopping on by.

Back again, I know you are in shock....three days in a row.  I so love Christmas time. Today,  I would like to share all the flowers and christmas ornaments on the 3D paper tole easel cards that I sent out.  I did have a lot of fun going through my collection of silver and gold stickers to add the finishing touches to these cards. Hope your Christmas time has been awesome.  Now it's time to start looking forward to the end of the year and the start of 2015. This is the first of the 3D paper tole cards that I made.  Can you see my mistake? Yep, I put the flower image on upside down.  Thankfully, it's not that noticeable and was not on of the  Santa's I was doing. :-) I think I got a little carried away with the stickers on this one.  Have a great day.

Happy Boxing Day. So how was your Christmas?  We had a quiet one this year but I enjoyed it all the same.  No pressure to have things cooked or even dress up for company.  Lots of lounging, snacking, watching tele or keeping an eye on Facebook.  Our son stayed down south with his girlfriend and family this year so that left three of us.  No young kids but at moments we were all kids at heart including the dog. :-)  We opened presents then off to visit my parents, then my brother and his family, home for lunch then our daughter was off visiting her boyfriend and his family.  Colin and I just snoozed in front of tele very relaxing. Here are some of the cards I sent out and gave to friends this year.  I did have a lot of fun putting them all together.  Silly thing is because they cam in kit form and each layer for the image simply popped out of a sheet I felt like I was cheating but they still take a lot of work to put them together...

Merry Christmas everyone, wishing you a happy day no matter how you get to spend it. I have been doing a little crafting just not any blogging.  :-) Things keeping me busy of course was work up until 12th December.  As of the 1st December we had my parents move in for three weeks so that we could help look after my mother after she had surgery on her back to release a nerve.  All has gone well and Mum now can sit in a regular chair and not have to constantly get up and walk around to ease the pain.  Mum and Dad went off to church last Sunday first time in 18 months.  So that is a good thing. :-) Now I am madly working on a photo book for our daughter's 19th birthday.  60 pages and 1000's of photos to cram in as they are all so wonderful.   Her birthday is 12th January.....I won't get it printed in time but shall have it ready and able to view on the computer I am sure.  Over the next couple of days I will share the 3D paper...
