Once again I am having fun with my crocheted flowers. This time I have used SU Pacific Blue for my base card, black leather craft card, and green textured card. I ran the white paper through the cuttlebug using the embossing folder "Forest Branches". Added some stems for the flowers with chalk and a cotton bud running along some of the lines of the embossing. I highlighted the stem and leaves with sketch lines drawn with my black gel pen. Added three of my crocheted flowers and three buttons to top them off.
An update as to what is happening in Craftmad this October:
A new group has opened for both the sewing and card swap for October. You have until Wednesday, 7th October to join on in.
October Card Swap - 2 x cards with some form of stitiching for embellishment.
October Sewing Swap - 1 x potholder
October Photography Challenge - theme is Bubbles
Weekly Inchie Challenge - this weeks theme is PINK.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the last couple of years we have held a Girls Night In (GNI). A lot of fun where we learn a new technique online via MSN. This is also a fundraiser where we donate monies to support the research into Breast Cancer and this year will be held in memory of one of our long term Craftmad members JulieS. Sadly Julie lost her fight with cancer early in September she was a lovely lady who organised all the card swaps and created beautiful cards.
Lastly, here is the link to the gallery so you can see all the wonderful creations that were added last month. We would love to see yours too at some time. We always love new inspiration.

Merry, this is such a simple yet elegant creation. Love how the crocheted flowers adds so much texture to the design.
