Presents - Diecut, Pearls and Paper Piecing

Hi everyone, now that week was a blur.....Friday is here already.
Today I am sharing the second card I sent to my Craftmad partner (Kerry) for our July Card Swap.
It was a Tic-Tac-Toe theme and we had to choose a row of items to use o the card.
This time I chose Diecut, Pearls and Paper Piecing.
The colour combo of this card was based on the pearls as red was the only colour I had and the image was chose because of the wooden die cut I wanted to use.

So I started with this white pre-scored base card which is a little larger than I normally use and I enjoyed the extra space. I have then used SU cardstock.....the blue has been run through my Happy Birthday embossing folder.  The 'presents' diecut is a made of wood and I have had a it a little while.  I coloured it with my Copic pen to try and match the blue card and then added Kindy Glitz and the two little bits of ribbon.  This wonderful image is of course, a Vince sensation from over at Crafty Moments.....isn't she just the cutest.  I had fun paper piecing her dress, shoes, ribbons in her hair and ribbon on the box.  The remainder I coloured with my Copic pens.  I then used the computer for the word 'Birthday' and added the pearls.

Hope you all have a great day and thanks so much for taking the time to pop on by and leave me a comment.  I do really enjoy reading them all. :-)

I will be back later tonight with a DT card for the new Cardmadfairy Digi Days challenge.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
