Hi everyone, can you believe it another two weeks has flown by and we now have a new challenge over at Cardmadfairy Digi Days. Thanks to the amazing amount of people that entered our last challenge and congrats to our winner and Top 3.
This challenge is all about Summer Holidays.......
Remember that you must use a digi stamp although it's not necessary to use a Cardmadfairy one but it would be fantastic to see how you would use our images. Please remember though to only enter the challenge once unless you are using Cardmadfairy images, we will have to delete extra entries which don't comply with our rules.
We are sponsored this month by one of our own Design Team members - Sandra from Sandra's Crafty Corner. Be sure to check out all her amazing creations.
The prize:
Now to tell you about my card. I started with a yellow pre-scored blank card then a layer of textured orange card. Next I printed Jenni's 'Daisies' which you can find in the Cardmadfairy Digi Stamp Store.
I coloured the two outside daisies with my two very new Copic Sketch pens. They were part of a prize package that I received yesterday and was so happy at how well the colour has matched the paper I chose to paper piece the middle daisy. I added bling to each centre. Now for the sentiment. I love my rub-ons and last time I went shopping online at Blue Edge Crafts I spied 'Grafix Rub-onz'. Yes, I can make my own rub-ons by printing on to the special sheets they supply. Once I figured out how to mirror my wording it was all pretty simple. Also if I had read the way to do things and actually realised they knew what they were talking about instead of me assuming I know better........ I would not have the orange tag along the bottom. lol. The instructions suggest cutting as close to the wording as possible.....as I have discovered there is a slight film left with the wording. This doesn't show if cut right next to the rub-on. Hopefully, that makes sense.
I would like to enter into the following challenges:
Oh, I have to show the wonderful goodies I won from Mad 4 Markers......Thanks so much Sammi.
Oh so pretty! Really like the paper piecing in the middle...makes that flower stand out! Lovely goodies you received! I really should get a "how-to" book on using my Copics....then again I'll probably still just do things "my way"!! I was always called stubborn for a reason I guess! LOL!
