Not how I pictured this card to start with but I am really happy with the end results. I have covered three things with this card. Firstly, challenge #27 over at Crafty Creations....they are asking you to use buttons on your creation. Secondly, the layout I have used is for the Craftmad August Card Sketch challenge (there is a random mystery prize drawn at the end of the month from all those that enter). Thirdly, I needed a card to send to a friend of mine to say thanks for looking after my boys for a little bit.I used SU Not Quite Navy for the base card. A strip of SU Chocolate Chip which I used the cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder on. Then wrapped some lovely ribbon which my daughter gave to be for my birthday ages ago. A strip of white textured card which I have drawn stitching around the edge. Three of my crocheted flowers with flower buttons for centres. Stems are SU Old Olive. All the bits and pieces were put together for the greeting which I used a white 'Thank You' sticker.
