Cardmadfairy's Digi Days Challenge - Buttons - DT Card

Hi everyone, what a mad week I have had.  However, I think I am finally ready for the markets tomorrow.  The weather looks like being perfect although a little windy.
Now I have time to share with you the card/chocolate box I made for my friend Helen's daughter who turned 12 earlier this week.  I decided that I would use Cardmadfairy Digi Days newest challenge as the start of my card.

This time our theme is Buttons and the design team have been making some wonderful cards which are sure to inspire, all using Cardmadfairy images which can be found in the Digi Stamp Shop.

For this challenge we are delighted to be sponsored by the fabulous
Hope Jacare  - check out her fabulous digis here!

We are very sad to be losing our teamie Audrey who has been part of the team since the beginning.
She is stepping down for personal reasons, we would like to wish her all the best for the future and we will definitely be keeping up with her around blogland! This leaves a gap in our team and Jenni has  decided to have a DT call out for not just 1 but 2 new members for our  team here at Cardmadfairy's Digi Days. If you are interested please email Jenni  and  tell her a bit about yourself and show her your favourite recent project.

We hope you will play along with us this week but please remember that you must use a digi stamp although it's not necessary to use a Cardmadfairy one although it would be fantastic to see how you would use our images. Please remember though to only enter the challenge once unless you are using Cardmadfairy images, we will have to delete any extra entries which don't comply with our rules.

My card I used Bazzil card for the base and the lovely Past Spodia Combo papers from over at Blue Edge Crafts.   I used the chocolate box template that Kaye share with us over at Craftmad.  I so love this design as it is a present and card all in one.  Of course the wonderful flower digi is from Cardmadfairy and I have coloured it with my Copic pens and added a mixture of buttons threaded with embroidery thread.  The chocolate.....Nestle...chocolate eclairs...yum!   Yes, I had to taste test.

Have a fun weekend everyone.  I hope to catch up with everyone next week and have a couple of things to share too.  :-)

  1. Hello Merry

Having one of my rare ventures into blogland, just for a few moments mind you before the dreaded screen merges into a blob.

Had a little look round and see you are still creating beautiful pieces of artwork, not that I suspected anything other. A beautiful poinsettia furthe down and the colours of this piece really appeal.
