Christmas Stocking Gifts and Belated Birthday Card

I had made two of these for the Vellum challenge at Unstampabelles last month (post here).  At the time decided it would be a great Thank You gift for the ladies in the school tuckshop.  So I made another two and here is the end result.  I filled the stockings with Darrell-Lea mint chocolate balls.  Yep, one for the stocking one for the mouth. :-)  I made little thank you cards to go with them but forgot to take a photo. Using the computer I added Thank You to the bottom right corner and added a holly leaf like the ones on the stockings.

This is the card I made for our daughter's boyfriend's birthday.  He too went away to schoolies but to the Gold Coast and celebrated his birthday at the end of that week.  Then time got away from me when he returned so I was 'a little slow' creating this card.  I decided to copy a card I had made for my brother a couple of years ago….post here.  All the card stock and papers are Stampin Up.  Computer generated sentiment.  The snail I used my Spellbinder circles and a selection of embossing folders.  I hand  cut the body shape and added a googlie eye and wire for antennae.  Now I look at the card I think I should have had him pushing a present, next time.

Christmas decorations are going up in our house today. :-)  Have fun everyone.

The card is lovely without the present as well. What a creative way to make a snail. The antennae are cool.
