Not a Sale

Yep, it rained off and on and I paid $10.00 to sit in the park in the damp for five hours and then packed up and came home. I did however, get to chat to my brother and his family, two cardmaking friends and other people that I haven't seen for a while. Was a little bummed but I have come home, lunched, gardened and taken the dog for a walk and now feeling heaps better. Time for tea now....chicken and noodles. Oh, did some cards at a Stampin Up fundraiser and won some wonderful prizes so will show them soon. Who can't help be happy about that. Have a good weekend.

  1. aw sorry to hear about the rain, sure you'll have more luck next time! at least you go some socialising in!

  2. Oh no! You really had some bad luck there... But don´t give up. Those lovely cards deserve a home and you some extra money to make some more :)

  3. Oh Merry I'm sorry it didn't work out. I've sat in drafty church halls all day in the past when I made jewellery with hardly a sale. Don't give up!

  4. Don't let a little rain dampen your spirits! Is there an indoor market? I'm 'researching' one today! Congrats on your SU winnings.

    Kylie xo

  5. Sorry to hear the rain foiled your plans...what a bummer. Atleast you got to chat with some people you haven't seen in awhile so not a total loss! And I can't wait to see what you won!

  6. You poor thing, wish you better luck next time, hopefully will be much warmer. Look forward to seeing what you have made with your goodies, take careX:)

  7. Sorry to hear you got rain! Really sorry you couldn't send it over here and fill the Murray River. Our bridge is collapsing due to the drought.

PS your cards are so beautiful you will sell the lot next time.

Thanks for much for visiting my little part of the world. I really appreciate the time you have taken to leave me a comment. I love hearing from you and if you are new I really like the fact I can now visit your blog too.
