60th Birthday


One of the ladies from work turns 60 on Sunday. This lady is always on hand to help anyone out so we are throwing her a surprise morning tea. I volunteered to make a card and just love this type of card for big celebration birthdays.  I created 60 candles using yoo some of my scrap papers.  To create the flames l punched thirty hearts from various yellow card stocks then cut each heart in half.  I painted each flame with clear Wink of Stella. Across the top edge I added gold stickers to say Happy Birthday.

    This is so impressive and most of all how you cut the flames. I am sure in real life the wink of stella looks awesome. Just love this card. One of your bestest.

Unstampabelles Challenge #30 - Christmas (No Stamps)

This month's Unstampabelles Challenge is my final challenge.  I have decided it is time to move on as our kids have finished school now and I have a feeling that 2014 will be full of unexpected surprises.  So just downsizing on some commitments.  The wonderful and terrific Susan of ' Time to Play ' has put her hand up to take on the challenges.  Susan said she will keep the same format but just add a new twist…..so keep your eye out. We are also saying farewell to Lauren who has been a wonderful support and given us terrific inspiration with all here scrap pages.  And Cathy who has been with Unstampabelles since the very beginning and helped me to no end.  Cathy was always there to help putting a post together when I ran out of time or was busy holidaying somewhere.  Thanks so much to both of these ladies.
