February Craftmad Card Swap - Stash and Trash

Morning all, todays cards were made for my Craftmad swap partner for February.  The theme was Stash and Trash.  The trash side was a little tricky, on this card the rose I made is cut from a serviette,  so I am classing that as trash….it was unused.  :-)  I used a die I found in my clean up which I have never used to cut the rose.  I then coloured it with my copic pens.  The leaves are from another die set.  The background I created by punching squares of Stamp in scrap paper from my stash.  I then sprayed the entire background and rose with my gold spritzer.  After I adhered each square I thought it needed a little something so dug my pearl bling from my stash and put one on each join.  The Celebration Time sticker is from The Sticker Store.

This card is definitely 'Stash' as the circle embellishments were put together by my daughter when she was about 14 or 15 and now she is 20yo.  I knew there would be a day I needed them.  :-)  I must not have taken a photo of my final card as I had added thin yellow strips around all he edges of the banner tail.  I felt it needed a little something extra after I had taken this photo.

Wishing you a terrific Tuesday.

  1. Both of these are even better IRL. They are sat on my desk right now. What a difference the yellow strip around the banner has made to the finish of the second card. Hope your fish bones don't take too long to arrive downunder!!
