Cat and Ball

Mornin' everyone, yesterday it rained and rained and rained. So I had plenty of time to create a card and also get a bit further through Harry Potter - The Half Blood Prince. Yay, only one more book to go.

I am enjoying these decoupage images, I think, because they are not so detailed. I cut this cat out and then inked all around the edges with Staz-on Timber Brown Ink and then layered him up using 3D double sided foam squares. I used SU Yoyo Yellow as the base card, then SU Sahara Sand, then SU Real Red. I cut a slit in the corners of the Real Red panel and slid the cat panel in. I thought the cat looked pretty happy with himself so he needed something that he had been playing with. So I used a circle piece of scrap board and wrapped crochet cotton around to form the ball of wool that he had been playing with. Finished off with a silver Happy Birthday sticker from the Sticker Store.
