June Craftmad Swap

For our June swap over at Craftmad (Pinterest album here) we had to copy/case/be inspired by earlier cards in our Pinterest album.  I chose Kaye's card below.  Dug out the Kraisercraft papers I was given at Christmas time and embellished with pearls and a doily.  I really like the end result.

For my second card I was inspired by the card I had received in an earlier swap from Kerry (below).  Kerry had done the weaving so neatly that it did look like a quick card to put together.  However, the weaving on each corner was fiddlier than I expected.  I chose the sticker which I adhered to card stock and cut around.  Decided that the lovely light blue glitter paper would make the perfect background and cut thin strips of blue, yellow and red, colours picked from the sticker.
