Craftmad December 2105 Card Swap - Fancy Folds

Time for a catch up post.  Over at Craftmad our December swap was all about fancy folds.  These are the two cards I sent to my partner.  I fell back on my favourite fold card - Joy Fold.  I love all the layers and how easily it comes together.  Out came the Stampin Up papers and card stock as I know that they will all work together.  I pin pricked around the edge of each panel and finished with this wonderful wooden Santa shape I found in my stash.

The inside I added a tag also found in my stash.

For the second card I thought I would try something new which was this centre step easel card.  I found this through Pinterest posted by Amanda over at The Craft Spa and she has a wonderful tutorial.  This is a fold I will be doing again and again. More Stampin Up papers and card stock makes this card go together easily.  The sentiment is a rub-on I have had for a while and finished with a present sticker to hold the easel open.

I think it's going to be another hot humid day today, not as bad as yesterday as we did have a good storm and heavy rain last night.  Thanks for passing by and wishing you a terrific day.

  5. Sure you won't join us for Kathy Racoosin's 30-Day coloring challenge? You only color 5 minutes a day for 30 days. Don't you have some black and white pre-stamped images in your stash that have been hanging around a while that need a little color added to them, so you can stash them to make a quick card? That's what I did last year -- colored some images to stick into trading card sleeves in a binder. Have used some of them already for decorating atc's! It was sure nice to have them ready to go!

    1. Another time, at the moment I have a quilt for the lounge to make so that I can take the Christmas one off, I have to sort through all my craft stuff as I have rearranged the room but not done the nitty gritty and my garden is screaming for a haircut. Thanks anyways. :-) Oh 10C sounds so lovely. 31C at the moment 88F with 75% humidity. Apparently, real-life feel temp is 41C and I do agree with that….walking creates a sweat. :-) Stay warm and safe.
