My friend Gloria had her 50th birthday last Tuesday however, we all went out to tea with her on Saturday night at a lovely Palm Cove restaurant. Gloria asked for no present but asked/demanded :-) that everyone crafty or not make her a card. Easy I think. However, there was a P.S. on the message for me - I was not to use my Cuttlebug or a stamp. Now that is a challenge and a half as I use my Cuttlebug at least once for every card Dies or Embossing. So I thought it was time to make another Pop up Box card as I had so much fun with the cat version (here). I started with some Bazzill card stock white and green and teamed it with the SU patterned paper. My daughter had discovered a packet of rub-ons after cleaning out her room so I put them to use on the front of the card also adding some stickers and bling.
The inside of the Pop up Box I attached layered paper and fabric flowers to acetate and added two butterflies. Finished with the Happy Birthday stickers. I so love that all these fold down so neatly to fit in an envelope. Such a great style of card. This time I used the tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers.
Hope you all have a fantastic week and thanks for visiting.
