DT Card for Unstampabelles Doily Challenge

Over at Unstampabelles this month we are asking you to use your dolies on your papercraft creations.  This is my card.  I have used Stampin Up (SU) card stock Poppy on Parade, SU patterned paper then SU Peach Parafait which I have embossed with my Victoria embossing folder.  I have used my doily to create a background for the flowers that I layered up.  I then added some torn leaves and the torn strip for the rub-on sentiment is the reverse side of the leaves.  Finished with a beaded pin.  Yes, this card was created for two reasons.  Design Team card for Unstampabelles and one of my Card Swaps for our February Swap over at Craftmad on which we had to include a beaded pin.  :-)

Our sponsor this month at Unstampabelles is
with a wonderful $25.00 gift certificate offered as the prize.

I would like to share this card with:

What pretty spring like colours. The embossed paper is lovely beneath the gorgeous flower as is the torn green paper.
I remember once you remarked the leaves behind my yellow flowers looked real - well, yes they were. :-)

I have been hoarding doilies for years now - 7 years or more so I must certainly air them. Lol.
Love,
M
