Unstampabelles Challenge #16 - Recycling or Repurposing

Morning everyone, it is the start of a new challenge over at Unstampabelles.  This month we are after Recycled or Repurposed paper creations.  The card above is my Design Team creation.  I liked how Lauren, one of our Design Team members had used a cereal box for her card last month.  So I embossed cardboard from a Cornflakes box for the background.  The base card is SU Cajun Craze.   The flowers are made of paper from a paper bag that I saved from our trip to Japan last year.  Once again I got to use the SU Simply Score board.  Sometimes take me a while but I worked out by the third flower that if I scored every second crease line on one side of the paper and then flip to and score the remaining lines it made folding the flower much easier.  The stems and leaves are made of kitchen twine which I coloured with Copic Pens.

This is my before shot.  I did have plans to use letters cut from the magazine to create the sentiment but things change.  End result no magazine added twine.

Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with.  This month we have terrific prize from my favourite online crafting forum - Craftmad.  So be sure to check out Unstampabelles and get all the details.

I would like to share this card in the following challenges:
