June Calendar Page

Well May did not seem as rushed to me when doing these pages.  I had something drawn in every day and coloured them all in last weekend.

I really like my June page and have to say it is much nicer in real life. I have been trying to come up with another way to show the days on the calendar with a touch of colour but still have it light enough to draw on during the month.  I decided to give the whole page a light wash of colour.  So love creating these pages as I drag out some of the fun things I did when the kids were younger.  For the date sections I drew lines with a candle to show the days.  Along the edge I drew some flourishes. It needed a little something else so I put daubs of red as flowers. I love the way they spread with the water.

I have linked this up to Kate's wonderful 365 day challenge over at The Kathryn Wheel
