January and February Calendar pages

Morning everyone, time to share my completed January Calendar page that I have been doing as part of the challenge over at 'The Kathryn Wheel' blog.
I have really enjoyed thinking about what I should try to draw each day.  Still no works of art.  I have learnt.....that I should not date the sqaures with my my black fine tip pen as it runs as soon as my aqua pen comes near it.  Also learnt that I enjoy my watercolour pencils more on the watercolour paper than my Aquamarkers.  I just have not got those Aquamarkers figured out....I have used them on the first row. Oh, one more thing I have learnt.....be sure to do each day as it is done or at the most leave it to three days because after that my brain really struggles as to what I have done.

Here is my February page......I have really had fun digging through everything I own and finally getting to use some things that I have been waiting for that right moment for.  Thought I would go for the Valentine theme as I have been seeing so much of it lately.  I have used watercolour paint for the red background, sprayed with gold smooch, added gold hearts stickers and Minnie and Mickey mouse, added Tilda so that I could get to use my Copics.  I have paper pieced her dress.  Then dug out the couple of heart stamps and added them.  Oh, February is made up of various sized rub on letters.

Now be sure to visit 'The Kathryn Wheel' to see all the amazing and inspiring calendars over there.  I am off to look so I can think of something for next month.
