Joy Fold Card, Totally Tote Bag, Aussie Tilda and Kookaburra

Good morning everyone, I have a few photos to share with you today.  Firstly, the wonderful JOY Fold card that I really enJOYed making for my friend Joy's birthday.  I have used lots of Stampin Up Design papers - sorry don't know the names.  Also embossed with my Victoria embossing folder and the inside with my 'With Love' border embossing folder.  The image is from CardMadfairy's Creations.....and was so much fun to colour with my Promarkers.  Add the finishing touch of bling across the petals of the flower.

I wasn't too imaginative with my friends present this year and ended up with Scratchies and Chocolates but who doesn't like a chocolate.
So I needed something special to hide the Scratchies in so I remembered the Totally Tote Bag that Huggies Crafts had shared with in her album over at Craftmad....so much better than my attempt be sure to check it out.
Anyways, it is a pattern from Splitcoast Stampers and I tried to make it match the card.  Really not bad for the 45mins I had to create it in.  I will definitely be trying this again.

Now this card has jet setted it's way from Nilla's lovely blog - Live it - Scrap it to my craft room.  Nilla posted this lovely card of Aussie Tilda and I commented something about that she should visit me.  Well it has happened.  How lucky am I plus I received to more Tilda's to colour myself.

This lovely kookaburra greeted me and my dog this morning.  I just had to share photos of him.  He was only 3 metres away from me and sat there while Scruff the dog investigated where all the cane toads were hiding behind our fridge.  Also allowed me time to go back in the house and find my camera.  About ten minutes later observant Scruff realised he was there and went a little closer to investigate but the Kookaburra did not hang around.

Have a great Friday and a good weekend....seee you all Monday.

  5. Love the pics, but be wary, where there is a kookaaburra, there usually is kookaburra yummies...ie a snake or large worm. Just look in the direction he's looking.

Your journals are terrific as well, you have a magic touch

  10. Morning Merry

What a great post, super cards and that kookaburra - he looks a bit like our woodpeckers, not sure if you have then in Aussie ?

We have a pair of green ones living in and around our garden and it's so easy to get distracted and watch them for ages. They have been with us from youngtsers, so we have seen them develop and have families of their own.

I love the design of your lilac card, hope you don't mind if I scraplift ?
