Father's Day cards and Cheesecake

This is the card I gave my father for Father's Day yesterday.  I didn't make it but thought it was so nice I wouldn't be able top it.  I received this card from a lovely lady in Canada (quiltlady) who joined us in our card swap over at Craftmad last month.  We had to make two male cards. This month we are swapping two acetate cards...this will be a challenge for me.  My Dad loved it and the chocolate, crossword book and the fact he won money on his Scratchie. :-)

This card I really love.  My 14yo daughter created this for her Dad using one of the wonderful digital images from Ruth over at Passion for Stamps.  We printed it on to watercolour paper and she has used watercolour pencils and aqua brush to colour it.  Then she wrote and coloured her Dad tag and dug through my scrap paper for the perfect strip.  Of course had to have some bling. I like this card so much I think it deserves to be entered into some challenges like these:

Stamping Vacation What a Guy Challenge - Anything representing speed.  Well sailing boats can fly when the get the right wind behind them.

This is the card our son 16yo made for his Dad....simple and easy.  Take one white gloss card put into printer and print out picture of present on front of the card.  Then Mum swipes all the edges with black ink as the top edge was marked when it came out of the printer.  The present is a Chrysler Grille for the front of my husbands car we all bought the logo for the back too.  Yes, hubby was very happy.

To finish the day off nicely...this is our daughter's special present for her Dad who loves cheesecake.  It was very very yummy.  :-)
