Christmas Tilda - Pick Three Challenge

Hi everyone, a start to another week. I only managed one of Denise's 'Pick 3' challenges this week over at Stamping Vacation. It was a fun one all the same.

I have highlighted the three items I chose to use.

1. Pop up parts of your image
2. use a miniature hinge
3. use a circle tag
4. Use a frame
5. create a border with a stamp
6. Position a tied bow anywhere that is not a middle area of your card

I used a white card I bought from Blue Edge Crafts that has a lined embossed appearance. I then ran a strip of SU Riding Hood Red through my Cuttlebug with the 'Victoria' embossing folder. Used my Octagon Nestabilities to cut the frame around Tilda and also a larger background from some SU Certainly Celery Designer Paper. I coloured Tilda with my aqua pen and watercolour pencils. Chalked the background in a light blue and added the snowflake stickers and glitter to her wings and edge of her dress. Dug out my Shrinky Dink plastic that I bought about three years ago and always forget about. :-) I stamped a snowflake on it from the Stampin Up set using Timber Brown Staz-on. Used my circle nestabilities to cut it out and punch a hole close to the top. Then got my heat gun out and had some fun while it curled and shrunk.....really have to use it more often as it is fun. I then added three link thingies from my beading collection and attached the snowflake to Tilda's hand. Finished the card with a SU Certainly Celery bow.
