Little Fabric Houses - Craftmad Swap

Happy Valentines day everyone. :-)  Hubby and I don't do anything special on this day....I am afraid I think it is way too commercial.

I have been hanging off showing you these little houses I made for our Craftmad January Sewing Swap.  Mainly because I have been a little slack.  I had them all made on time it is the getting to the Post Office that slows me down.  Then one weekend I thought I would just parcel it up and mail it off using the stamps that I had in my wallet.  Well the parcel was returned to me a week later as I forgot when sending parcels overseas you have to fill out a customs slip.  Duh!  So then the parcel travelled in my car for the past week and yesterday I finally mailed it off.  One of these houses is now travelling to the UK to be with Mrs A.  I am not sharing which one as I would still like Mrs A to have a little surprise. :-)  I used this wonderful tutorial by Retro Mama to get me started on the houses.  I only needed to make one but thought they were so cute I wanted to keep two to add to the one that knew I would receive from our Craftmad swap.  You can visit the Craftmad gallery here and see the other little houses that were made.

Up close of each of the houses.

Have a lovely day everyone. :-)

Check out Rush'd Lady's blog 'Craftin' Bliss as she has dug out fabrics and sewn some houses.

  5. Oh,how cute! I want one for my kitchen! Guess what? A friend is renovating her garage and she wants to give me her extra frig, which is a side-by-side refrigerator. It will be a huge blessing and an answer to prayer. She wants a smaller frig since she only keeps soda pops and ice cream in it. Now to get the wallpaper off the wall behind our frig and painted before I move it in!
