Last Friday, I had a dentist appointment which I was a little early to. So I was looking around the shops and spied a pile of books on sale. In the pile I found a small A5 sized book full of old sports pictures. I ummed and aaahhhed whether to get it as I thought the pictures would be brilliant for cards. The book was $12.95 marked down from $24. I walked away leaving it there and then thought why not have a little splurge. As I walked back I noticed the big red signs on the table that said all these books $2 each. So yes I bought it. This card has one of the images from the book. I used SU Wild Wasabi as the base card, inked around the edges, a layer of black, then tennis background paper from a magazine. Then I added the image with a strip of black lace along the bottom and three material flowers. Lastly, a letraset rub-on 'memories'.
What lovely cards you make!

Hi!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely card-I really like the lady with her tennis racket-she looks ready for an elegant afternoon at a tea party rather than a sweaty tennis match though!
Thanks for visiting me on OWOH.
Nice to meet you,
Sarah :)
Oh I love this one too. Sharon
