This weekend is the start of Cairns Festival which is a 17 day event....see more here. Yes, hubby was there with his camera so had to share the photos. I haven't been to a parade for five years and hubby has never been to one so he was pleasantly surprised at the number of people and how much fun it was.

| This parade was very multicultural. Aren't these the cutest kids. The Japanese part of the parade they said was about 300 people and think it was. |

Oh Merry, thanks for sharing those brill pics... your hubby has a talent just like you and am so glad you are sharing these beauties with us. I remember visiting Cairns some years ago, maybe five years ago. The festival looks like so much fun and I loved seeing the pics. Thanks for sharing.
