Stamping Vacation - Sticky Situation Challenge DT Card - Baby Stickers

Oops....forgot I had these photos scheduled with the plans to come back later and add details.  blushes.

This month Denise has asked us to use 'Baby Stickers'.  This can be baby bottles, dummies, etc.
I thought, this would be so easy as I have lots of baby stickers.  How wrong could I be.  I had plenty of stickers that said 'Baby Boy' or 'Baby Girl' but no images.
No problems I headed off to the shops and in the third shop I found these which I do love and a bargain at .76c a sheet.
After shopping I visited my Mum a mad keen crafter.....thought she would have a baby sticker for sure....nope...same as me, only words. lol  Hope that is not the case for you.

Anyways I started both of these card with blank white card then a layer of (boy) Bazzill - Jet Stream and (girl) - Bazzill - Quartz.  Then I used some new papers from Blue Edge Crafts. (boy) -  Sweetiepie Stripes, (girl) - Sweetiepie Dots

I cut the bib shapes our with my Spellbinders - Scalloped edged circle and plain circle.  I used my oval punch to cut a section from the top and added a piece of ribbon.  Ran the white part of the bib through the Swiss Dots embossing folder and then added the appropriate stickers.

Now it's your turn.  I would so love to see what baby stickers you can find in your collection.
You have until the 21st May to enter this challenge and will be in the running for the monthly $25.00 gift certificate to the store of the winners choice.

I would love to enter these cards into the following challenges:

Sticky Situation Challenge - Easter Egg Stickers

Hi another Design Team card for Stamping Vacation.
This time it is for the Sticky Situation Challenge.  This is where you get to use your stickers.  The challenge is to use Easter Egg Stickers.

Took me a little to find some Easter Egg stickers, well nice colourful ones but I did.
I decided to change them into birds....so much fun adding the wing and beaks.  Dug out a googly eye for each of the birds and hand drew their legs on with a fine tip black pen.  I started the card with some nice white Bazzill Card.  Layered up some Stampin Up Gable Green and Pixie Pink.  The pink I have run through my Cuttlebug with the Bloom Dots embossing folder.  Finished the card by printing out the 'Happy Easter' sentiment and turning it into a banner.

Now it's your turn to play with the Easter Egg stickers.
Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Remember your entry puts you into the draw for the prize drawn on the 1st April.
Winner gets one $25.00 gift certificate to the craft store of their choice.

Sticky Situation Challenge DT Card - Four Leaf Clover Stickers

I was getting a bit worried about what I was going to create for this DT card for the Sticky Situation Challenge over at Stamping Vacation this month.  Denise has asked us to use 'four leaf clover' stickers.
After much searching through my collection and through some shops I was lucky enough to find this sticker in my stash at the last moment.
Now I look at it I realise that it is only a three leaf clover.
Can't be too choosy hey!

I have decided to give this card to my SIL whose birthday happens to be on St Patty's Day.
I embossed some metallic gold paper with my 'Victoria' embossing folder. Then added this fabulous green textured paper which has a lovely gold fleck through it.  Added a gold Happy Birthday sticker from Sticker Store and two little clover brads.  Then finished the card by adding my one and only clover sticker. :-)

Now it is your turn.  I would so love to see what four leaf clover stickers you can come up with.

This is the sticker up close and personal.

I did have something in mind if I didn't find a clover sticker and so had to put it into action.
I have used my scalloped edged spellbinder to cut the largest circle from this lovely bazzill bling.  Then found in my stash this pre-cut green label.  Dug out my gold hearts from the $2 store and placed them in the shape of a clover.  Went around the edge with my fine black pen with small dashes and added a stem to the clover.  Tied a bow in this lovely gold edged ribbon.  Finished with a gold 'Good Luck' sticker from Sticker Store and three little green bling.
Really love how this turned out.

So if you don't have a four leaf clover sticker in you collection lets see how creative you can be with your other stickers to make them fit the theme.

Or prize this month over at Stamping Vacation (drawn 1st March) is a $25.00 gift certificate to the store of the winner's choice.  Yes, you get to choose where to spend the money.
You have to be in it to win it. :-)

Now if this is not the challenge for you there are another 29 challenges over at Stamping Vacation to choose from.

I would like to enter into the following challenges:

DT Card - Sticky Situation Challenge - Hearts - Stamping Vacation

Hi everyone.....another Design Team card for you.  This is for the Stamping Vacation - Sticky Situation Challenge.   Denise has asked us to use heart stickers.  If you are like me you must have heaps of different shaped heart stickers in your collection.  I would so love to see your creations.

I started with this heart embossed card to which I added the collection of stickers I found.  The smaller stickers are from sheets from the Sticker Store.  The bigger glitter hearts from a local $2 store.  I went around the edges of the card and frame with my gold pen to give a faux stitching look.  Then stamped this cute image from Stampin Up Nice and Easy Notes.  I coloured her with my water colour pencils.

Just a reminder of the prize up for grabs at Stamping Vacation this month is which is drawn 1st Feb:

$25.00 gift certificate to spend at

Sticky Situation Challenge- Design Team Project

Hi everyone, I hope you are enjoying yourselves.  Another of my scheduled posts for you....I hope they are appearing when they are meant to.  Today, I have another Christmas Explosion box.  Remember you can find the instructions for these over at Craftmad.. here.

I have made this box for the Sticky Situation Challenge over at Stamping Vacation.  This month Denise has asked us to use a border sticker of any kind.  I have used this lovely star and circle border sticker from Sticker Store around the top edge of my explosion box.

I have used bazzill card for this box and this lovely striped paper which I have saved from Better Homes and Gardens pull-out at some time.  The Merry Christmas wording on the outside is part of the paper.  I added the silver snowflake and bling in the centre to each side of the box.

The inside of the box I used more of the beautiful striped paper.  Then topped each panel with a glittery bauble sticker.  I have attached the sticker to lilac bazzill bling and cut out.  Then topped with a cute little bow made on a fork....this makes life so easy. ;-)

This is the top of the box.  I have used this terrific image from Cardmadfairy Creations who is our sponsor this month over at Stamping Vacation.  You can't see too well in the photo but I have gone over the outline of the star with Kindy Glitz and then added bling.

Be sure to enter this challenge or another of the listed 30 challenges at Stamping Vacation to be in the December prize draw for a $15.00 gift certificate from Cardmadfairy Creations and a $10.00 gift certificate to Scrap Attack. Drawn 1st January 2011.

Stamping Vacation DT - Sticky Situation Challenge

Monday again, here is another Design Team card for Stamping Vacations Sticky Situation Challenge.

This month Denise has challenged us to use Santa Hat Stickers.  You have until the 21st December to enter....as many times as you like.

**** Please note you can enter for an entire month.  However, if your entry falls between 21st November - 30th November you will be in the November prize draw.  If you enter between 1st December - 21st December you will go into the December prize draw.****

The prize drawn at the end of November is from MARK'S FINEST PAPERS our sponsor. They will be giving away 4 (four) of the December Sneak Peek stamp sets in addition there will be a $25.00 gift certificate to their store! The winner will be randomly chosen on December 1st! We will be showcasing their stamps throughout the month.

I started with a white BE card then a layer of green handmade paper, topped with the fun green and white spotted paper.  I had a card scene in my head and googled but couldn't find just what I was looking for.  I  thought I would have a try at drawing something myself.  Sometimes I do this and it is just rubbish but I really enjoyed sketching this guy and colouring him in with my watercolour pencils and aquabrush.  I added a little Kindy Glitz to the furry bits.  He is meant to be a child (his face looks a bit old) trying on a real Santa outfit that is way too big for him......that is what was in my head.  So not a Mo Manning...  I found this wonderful Christmas present/box sticker in my collection which I could slide the Santa Hat stickers in underneath so they look like they are all falling out.  These wonderful Santa Hat stickers are from the Sticker Store....they are Silver Holographic Stickers. I added the red with my Sakura Pen.  Finished the card with this lovely rub-on saying.

In the EYES of children
We find the JOY of
CHRISTMAS
In their HEARTS
we find it's MEANING

Have a wonderful Monday everyone.

DT Card - Sticky Situation Challenge - Stamping Vacation

I have joined a new challenge over at Stamping Vacation called Sticky Situation....yes it's all about using stickers, so right up my alley.  This months theme is to use a Pumpkin Sticker.  Now this was tricky for me as I live in Australia, I just don't do Halloween or Thanksgiving.  So pumpkin stickers is not something I have.  Luckily, we went to visit a friend who is also cardmaker over the school holidays and she has a stash of Halloween stuff as she has grandkids living in America.  She kindly let me have this wonderful pumpkin sticker.

A nice easy card.  I started with a white BE card then a layers of textured card from my DCWV Adhesive mat stack - Neutrals.  I dug out a 'Happy Halloween' stamp that I have won in a blog candy at one stage (pretty sure it was from Angie).   I stamped the words all over the green card to create the background I needed.  Finished with a yellow ribbon.

Now I am sure that you have a better collection of PUMPKIN stickers out there so I would love to visit and see your creations.  Just pop over to Stamping Vacation and share your creation.  Then you will go into the monthly draw.  This months prize, drawn at the end of October is 4 Digi Images from Stamping Dragon Designs and a $15.00 gift certificate from Papertry Ink.
